A flair for the dramatic Senior ...A flair for the dramatic Senior Gill always corresponded when Arrowhead needed him most The Arrowhead male childs soccer team was locked in a fierce overtime try with Wauwatosa West in a Division 1 sectional semifinal. Six minutes into the extra session, senior midfielder Andy Gill communicateed on a well-placed shot from 20 yards gone out for the golden goal and a 2-1 victory. Making big plays was a hallmark of Gill's time at Arrowhead. Gill, who controll play from the central midfield and finished the season with 10 goals and nine assists, is the Journal Sentinel's Milwaukee- area male childs soccer player of the year. Gill, a four-year starter, was pitch uponed as the Classic Eight conversation player of the year in his junior and senior seasons. The Warhawks advanced to the state tournament for the first time since 1985 Arrowhead's Jeff Staus is the coach of the year. Gill said he would always savor the goal against Tosa West. "He does all the little things in like manner well, and he has the team subordinate to complete control." Gill is being recruited by way of UW-Milwaukee, Marquette and Wisconsin. He also is considering George Washington University. "He's mature beyond his years and he understands the game to a high degree well," Staus said. "He's the whole ball of wax in seasons of what it takes to be auspicious on the field." The Warhawks were the No. 1 team in the state for almost the entire season. Gill said it was important that the Warhawks realized their goal of advancing to the state tournament. He was rareed as the Greater Metro interview player of the year. "He plays fearless," coach Corey Oakland said. "I've none seen him back down from anybody. He's single in kind of the stronger leaders I've coached." Chris Frazier, sr midfielder, Brookfield Central: He scored 13 goals and had 11 assists. Coach Jon Mroz described his form as silky smooth. "He's faster than he looks" Mroz said. "Wherever we propose him, he was head and shoulders above anyone besides on the field." Andy Gill, sr midfielder, Arrowhead: The Journal Sentinel's Milwaukee-area lads soccer player of the year. As a junior and senior, he was named the Classic Eight player of the year. Mohammed Sethi, sr midfielder, Homestead: the same of the most gifted players in the state. He was gooded as the North Shore meeting for consultation player of the year after scoring 12 goals and contributing 15 assists. "He compares favorably with any player that has gone by the agency of Homestead," coach Rich Dorn said. "He stood abroad against every team we played." Erik Szarzynski, jr midfielder, southerly Milwaukee He emerg as single in kind of the area's top players with a 23-goal and 12- assist season.
