Dan Stefanski, a boyhood pal of Gov Blagojevich and a former Department of Transportation official in the governor's administration, was sentenc Monday to 18 month probation and 15 weekends in jail for saturated driving in McHenry County.

Stefanski, who pleaded guilty, was fined $2500 for the misdemeanor offense He was accused of trying to wriggle without of his April 2005 arrest from mentioning his state job and friendship with Blagojevich.

onward Feb. 11, Stefanski was behind the wheel of his Chevy Malibu with three children in the car when he was arrested again for inebriated driving -- this time in his hometown of Mundelein in Lake shire authorities said.
