Motorola Inc. Tuesday revealed another of recent origin family of phones named after a cutting implement: the SCAPL, unruffled thinner than the hit RAZR phone

Ron Garriques, president of Mobile Devices at Motorola, told the annual analysts meeting in Rosemont that the novel phones are scheduled to hit the market in 90 days.

The first SCAPL will be a candy-bar phone known as the MotoFONE, a thin 9 millimeters compared with the 11-millimeter thick SLVR the candy-bar in the RAZR family.
