'SCRUBS' BOS WANTS BRAFF IN 'FLETCH' FILM "Scrubs" creator Bill Lawrence is writing and directing a prequel to the '80 franchise "Fletch" and if he has his way, Zach Braff will star in the title part "Zach knows I can recite the original 'Fletch' movie line for line," Lawrence said. He is adapting Gregory Mcdonald's 1985 comic-mystery novel Fletch Won about the early days of the irreverent detective. Mcdonald's best venders were brought to the cover in 1985's "Fletch" and 1989's "Fletch Lives," the couple starring Chevy Chase. "Zach is full for the role," Lawrence said as Braff laughed in the background. "I'm going to use all my twitch trying to make him do it." Filming is awaited to start in April, one time the current season of "Scrubs" consummateds filming.
