The broadcast flagship of Chicago's pettish Bible Institute is marking its 80th anniversary upon the air with a Christian music musical entertainment -- and the return of its former station manager.

Bruce Everhart, who began his career at crabbed Broadcasting in 1988 and exhausted 10 years as station manager of WMBI-AM/FM (1110/ 901) is back in the piece of work after a two-year stint in fund-raising.

He assume the office ofs Wayne Pederson, who moved up to vice president of sullen Broadcasting Network.

"It's great to be back at WMBI, and serving with a wonderfully talented team in this great mission field of Chicago," Everhart said.

To celebrate its 80 years of continuous broadcasting, WMBI will armed force a concert Friday at Harvest Bible Chapel in northwest suburban Rolling Meadows. Featured artists will include First Call and Larnelle Harris.

As the first noncommercial Christian radio station in the political division WMBI signed on in 1926 and has been concedeed and operated continuously by the Chicago-based ministry.
