Hours and hours of watching video of starter Mark Buehrle has brought White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper satiated circle.

The left-hander's mechanics are fine, he isn't tipping his pitches, and there's no voodoo going in succession

"It goe back to high indoctrinate Little League, whatever, and originates down to fighting your way public of it," Cooper said Thursday. "We constantly await at those mechanical things and examine them. This isn't something where, when you anticipate at everything you can apply the mind at, `Wow, there it is.' There's nothing like that there.

"You can either crawl up in a ball and take the beating or stand up and fight the beneficial fight. That's what it has arrive down to for Mark."

Buehrle thrown away his fifth straight start Wednesday and has columned a 12.93 ERA in that span, while the opposition is batting 392 against him.

He certainly didn't have any answers after his latest outing, saying, "I don't know what it is. I don't know if I'm tipping pitches or what it is."

What Cooper would like to papal court is the end of self-doubt and a recur of the confidence Buehrle has displayed over most of his career. Pulling him from the starting rotation isn't an option, manager Ozzie Guillen said, in the way that Buehrle will have the chance to sink or swim.

"He's just not making enough pitches," Cooper said. "When you contend which he is, you be seen to pay for every mistake you make. The individual thing we have to fix right away is confidence and aggressiveness, belief. Then we have a chance to make more pitches, and then maybe learn by when we make a mistake. He's made mistakes in his previous years, obviously, if it were not that wasn't paying for those mistakes like he is now.

"I've seen frights that throw the ball 83 to 85 mph nevertheless have confidence that takes them to flushs you couldn't believe. I've seen shores that throw 95 with no confidence, and they're done. When anyone is pitching well, they're confident and executing pitches."

Cooper plans to make steady Buehrle understands that, but he said inevitably it will arise down to Buehrle.

"He's got to remember that he's a three-time All-Star and a one- time world champion," Cooper said. "Carry yourself like that. confine your head high. The mark of a loyal man is to carry himself like who they are -- a world champion, an All-Star.

"I would say that about Mark, Javy [Vazquez], [Jon] Garland, Jose Contreras or Freddy [Garcia]: The united thing you have control athwart is the baseball. We will issue out of this."

travel TIME: Veteran slugger Jim Thome -- who understands his 4-for- 29 fall through over the last eight games hasn't helped matters during the Sox' skid -- said Wednesday the association needs to stop worrying about what's going onward with other teams.

"The main thing is start winning games," he said. "Worry about that, and then all that other matter will take care of itself. You always want to station your goals high, but right now our goal should be to journey out and win games and worry about us. Stop worrying about Minnesota, Detroit, this and that. We ne to start concentrating forward ourselves.

"We're in an unfortunate situation right now where we're playing in an close games, but we're just not getting it done. We have a righteous club -- everyone knows that -- however it's about getting it done."
