Gordon Barnes, a three-sport athlete at Thornton High drill last year, was shot in the two legs during an attempted robbery in Harvey late Wednesday night. Barnes, 18 and another victim, a 17-year-old Thornton close examiner were in a car parked at West 148th public way and Paulina when they were marksman police said.
