It all started, seemingly, innocently enough with smoking bans. Now, a certain quantity of of the "better people" who inhabit City Hall have decided we shouldn't eat foie gras and want to tax fast nutrition ban certain types of cooking oils, narrate companies what they must pay their employee and what benefits they must provide -- in the proces denying work at jobss to the poor. They plane want to ban low-price retailers who provide merchandise that tribe can actually afford. Socialists and communists the world across have always believed they are better tribe who are better able to make known the rest of us by what mode to live, much like many Chicago aldermen. They believe they are superior. Maybe that's to what end so many Chicago and Illinois public officials wind up in the slammer.
