accounted President George W. Bush ...
accounted President George W. Bush used his first presidential veto in more than six years [on July 19] No, he did not veto any of the thousands of pork-barrel casts that come across his desk each day. He vetoed a bill that would impact many, many lives in the time to come Why? Because it crossed his moral boundaries. What are his moral boundaries? I gues intentionally misleading the American folks to wage war on Iraq and in the proces seriously compromising the fiscal health of this political division does not fit his idea of a moral boundary. Violating the First Amendment rights of Americans according to spying on them without court approval also does not fit his idea of a moral boundary. And leaving thousands of poor and lower-middle-class Americans to fend opposite to a ravaging hurricane -- that too does not fit into his moral boundary guidelines.
