Howie and Delilah's mission in writing this novel is to win an award. We write for many different ends and each one may dictate the way we use. We write to inform, persuade, and entertain. Ask learners to list everything they have written this week and to identify the intention behind each one. They should include all writing done for teach and outside of school. They can also identify the intention in each one of these written items: a groceries list, a thank you note, an invitation, a do job-work application, a research paper and a recents article.
