Hammond authorities are investigating sum of two units new reports of projectiles -- possibly bullet -- striking car windows in northwest Indiana. At 6 a.m. Monday, James Ferry of Demotte told police that something cracked his car window at Cline and Michigan avenues as he headed to work.
