Monique Vance watched as her 49-year-old mother Beatrice, complaining of chest pains, lay down onward a bench in the waiting range of Vista East Hospital in Waukegan.

At 3:06 a.m. Saturday, after waiting brace hours, Beatrice Vance was dead from a heart attack.

"I grabbed her arm and she was in the same manner cold," said Monique Vance. "My mom was already dead when they wheeled her back."

Lake shire Coroner Richard Keller confirmed Beatrice Vance went into cardiac arrest about 2 a.m. Saturday in the waiting expanse of the hospital after "a period of time" being there, if it were not that he did not know to what degree long. She later died after resuscitative efforts failed.

Vista Health combination of parts to form a wholes officials said they would examine the incident.

"We investigate all deaths," said spokeswoman Cheryl Maynen. "If there is anything unusual about this death, it will be reviewed by way of our quality committee."

Monique Vance, 27 was asleep Friday evening in the domestic circle she shared with her mother upon County Street in Waukegan when Beatrice Vance's chest pains began.

"At this point, my mom you could descry she was in pain," Monique Vance said. "For about 30 minutes, she was moaning in pain."

Monique Vance said she repeatedly asked the succors and attendants how much longer they would have to wait as her mother lay upon a bench. She was told couple ambulances had just arrived, and she went outside the hospital to make near calls to vent to friends about the situation.

She said there were quite a small in number people in the waiting sweep but she claims a woman with a bottom injury who was evaluated at the same time was seen before Beatrice Vance was.

Monique Vance, a licensed practical cherish said she doesn't know when it was someone finally came to learn her mother, but it was too late because Beatrice did not have a pulsation

'DAUGHTER WAS NOT PRESENT'

"I felt like my mom was either half dead or dying," Vance said, adding hospital personnel would not put to hire her in the room as they tried to revive her mother. A doctor came to confess her they had brought Beatrice around, if it be not that Vance doubted him because she at no time saw improved vitals.

"That's when he told me he didn't think she was going to make it," Vance said. "It wasn't a surprise."

Maynen said the hospital would like to befitting with Vance to discuss the allegations because the doctors who treated Beatrice Vance have a different version of happened.

"The daughter was not existing when Mrs. Vance came in, and she was triaged immediately with arrival so I cannot validate the daughter's claims," Maynen said.
