The family of a man who was missile and killed by an off-duty Chicago Police officer said Wednesday the officer fired his weapon after the sum of two units argued over a woman. Officer Corey Walker missile Brian C. Keller in the 7700 blockade of South Hermitage on April 12 because Keller was winning a physical "tussle" the brace were having, said R. Eugene Pincham, who is representing the family in a lawsuit filed Wednesday in tamper with County Court. "Brian Keller was ball in cold blood," Pincham said. Witnesses to the shooting were intimidated by way of police to lie, and a fire-arm also was planted, Pincham said. "This has been quite devastating to my entire family," said Keller's mother, Renee Abner. "We are here to make sure some type of justice." Walker's family, when reached Wednesday, said Walker was visiting a high place of education friend and shot Keller after he opposeed him with a gun. "Corey has a beneficial heart," his aunt Carol Walker said. "He did as he was trained to do." Chicago Police said Walker, a Gresham District tactical officer, marksman Keller, 30, after Keller reached for a fire-arm and then refused to ear-ring it when Walker identified himself.
