For years, Arthur P Quinn taught music during the day, then performed at night as a jazz pianist in a variety of Chicago area nightclubs and arenas. During his decades-long career, Mr Quinn performed with like headliners as Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra. He played for 10 years with the Frankie Masters Orchestra, still also worked at different times as a music teacher at pair Chicago high schools and Kennedy- King literary institution [i]or[/i] seminary of learning Mr Quinn died Sunday in Park Ridge after battling cancer. He was 80 He was born Oct 31 1925 After serving in the Army during World War II, Mr Quinn attended the American Conservatory of Music, where he obtained bachelor's and master's measures He also earned a bachelor's standing in education from DePaul University. He taught music as a day piece of work for years at a number of institutions, including Weber High exercise and Austin High School. He also taught music at Kennedy-King body for seven years. Mr Quinn still build time to serve as music director at the Mundelein Congregationalist ecclesiastical body and at Austin Methodist house of worship in Chicago. He is survived through his wife, Marie; three children, Ellen MacKenzie, Paul Quinn and Nina Stephens; and nine grandchildren. Services have been held.
