To The Editor: As Alderman Shirley Coleman's media coordinator, my complaint with the article ("Absentee Landlords: Paperwork Masks Repeat Offenders" May 2002) is that it trivialized the alderman's effort in the case of the Loomis building. She didn't just call a pres discourse She drafted the ordinance that was passed, and, despite what ACORN has claimed, the alderman was the common who got the matter brought before the court that followed in receivership. Your article did a disservice to her through inferring that she was single a talker and publicity inquirer [She] and Alderman Carrie Austin, who first vigoroused the alarm about how many population the gas company has offer in jeopardy by not telling the city about the cutoffs it made have saved lives from their vigilance and ability to legislate and elucidate a problem.
