That's the idea behind Cooking with the Best Chefs' singles cooking class, which will be held from 9 to 11 pm Friday at Vesuvio Cafe.

Stephanie Kuti, sous chef at Don Shula's Steakhouse at the Westin Northwest in Itasca, will teach participants to what degree to make appetizers.

Among the appetizers they'll learn to create will be spinach and Boursin cheese materialed mushrooms as well as grilled chicken and pineapple skewers serv with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce.

And who knows what other will be cooking afterwards?
