HARTFORD, Conn -- Top Democrats onward Capitol Hill abandoned Sen. Top Senate Democrats, including John Kerry Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid and thrust Schumer, said they supported Lamont as the choice of Connecticut's Democratic voter Sen Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) called Lamont's victory "a clarion call for change," and a spokeswoman said Kennedy planned to campaign for the nominee. Lamont predicted he would win anyway. "He'll last up splitting the Republican vote" Lamont said of Lieberman. "He get by hearts a lot more support from Republicans than he does from Democrats."
