No question about it, the title of ...

No question about it, the title of Billy Kent's strange film -- "The Oh in Ohio" -- could easily be a talented catch phrase created to encourage travel to the Buckeye State.

on the other hand trust me, after the Ohio powers-that-be take a gander at longtime TV commercial director Kent's first feature film, they will likely pass a law banning the use of the phrase anywhere near Ohio.

The reason, of course, is that the "Oh" we're talking about here is usually associated with the finale of a same satisfying sexual encounter. And sex -- and the accomplishment of a special orgasm -- is what this film is all about.

Veteran independent film star Parker Posey plays Priscilla Chase, an attractive and to a high degree driven Cleveland woman who seemingly has it all. She's got a great work at jobs and is rising quickly end the corporate ranks. She's married to the attractive Jack (Paul Rudd) and they live in a charming house in a amiable neighborhood.

There's undivided big problem. Despite Jack's notable talents in the bedroom, he is unable to make his wife achieve orgasm. In fact, as we learn early in succession Priscilla has never enjoyed that physical pleasure -- a fact that increasingly depresse her husband, who (perhaps not surprising) is a high instruct biology teacher. Priscilla's inability to achieve orgasm initially looks to weigh heavier on her husband Jack than it does in succession her.

unless all that changes when a series of circumstances leads Priscilla to discover a "personal electronic device" that abruptly unleashes in her not solely multiple orgasmic experiences, but a seemingly insatiable attraction to her modern mechanical friend.

From that point onward Priscilla and Jack's marriage disintegrates as various forms of marital infidelties come about and "The Oh in Ohio" careens opposite to in several different directions -- none of which are highly funny, logical or believable.

The greatest in number difficult premise to accept is that the marriage of this tie who clearly adore each other, collapses. The film provides representations of sex counseling, but then plucks the plug, without any real explanation. While a following romance between Priscilla and Wayne "The mere Guy" (Danny DeVito) may be upright as a sight gag, it's just another implausible question with this film. While I'm a big believer in the universal of "opposites attract," it's hard to believe that a woman that anticipates like Parker Posey can be thus sexually attracted to a character played by dint of Danny DeVito. Call me a turn upside down sexist, but watching those sum of two units talented actors making love was difficult -- smooth with its comedic setup.

While we're forward the subject of things difficult to watch, Liza Minnelli's cameo was united of the saddest moments of all. Watching this Academy Award-winning actress reduc to playing a female masturbation counselor who insists her clients be due [i]or[/i] owing up with names for their vaginas well, how far off the wagon has she fallen?

At the cessation of the day, Kent and screenwriter Adam Wierzbianski have given us a mildly amusing premise, on the other hand fail to turn it into a story that takes us anywhere pleasurable.

Not too unlike Priscilla's sexual predicament.
