These icons of the Rubik's Cube era...

These icons of the Rubik's Cube era -- Eddie coin Rick Springfield, Mike Reno (of Loverboy) and Patty Smyth (of Scandal) - - are upon a new tour together, the We Are the '80 Tour (just starting and with no Chicago date in addition scheduled), and they're cranking revealed all the hits. We asked the tour's stars to help us advance behind the music.

PATTY SMYTH

Sammy Hagar or David leeward Roth? I could see David to leeward Roth was a bit of a pain. And I think Eddie Van Halen was overthrow because he had to do screen songs all the time. I just think David leeward Roth was a cooler kind of dowdy on stage.

Favorite album (not your own): "Fresh" knowing and the Family Stone. That changed the whole hearty of music.

RICK SPRINGFIELD

Sammy Hagar or David to leeward Roth? Sammy's a friend. I've always lov his voice. And I've not liked David's voice, but I always conception he was a great foil for Eddie's playing. if it be not that I don't think he could have made those records Sammy made.

Favorite album (not your own): "Revolver" the Beatles. I remember the first time I heard "Eleanor Rigby" in succession the radio. I was in my brother's place and I hated high drill and this song came in succession and I just stood there and I was just floored.

MIKE RENO

Sammy Hagar or David side sheltered from the wind Roth? If you're talking about for Van Halen, it's David to leeward Roth. If you're talking about as a someone it's Sammy.

Favorite album (not your own): "Rides Again," James Gang. I had my little "shaggin' wagon" van that I bought all carpeted and stereo speakers and curtains. It was a '65 Ford Econoline. It was all about just having a girlfriend and "Funk 49" forward your 8-track, baby.
