An ice cream man was discharge and killed on the West Side forward Saturday evening, his truck crashing into a parked car while music chimed across its loudspeakers.

Police suspect the unidentified, approximately 30-year-old vendor was robbed. His wallet was missing when police arrived, authorities said.

It happened at 7 pm in the 1800 brace of South Harding in the Lawndale neighborhood. A shirtless teen with boxer shorts showing above blue jeans was being sought

The vendor was projectile once under the rib cage. He tried to drive opposite but crashed down the arrest He died about an hour later at arise Sinai Hospital.

"He ensues by every day," said Isabell Williams, who lives in succession the block. "The kids would line up to come by ice cream. It's sad. He was a nice person"
