Sandy Alomar Jr was behind the plate Saturday for Mark Buehrle again, moreover manager Ozzie Guillen said the pairing had long to do with giving A.J. Pierzynski pause after the Sox played a day game after a night game.

Alomar has caught Buehrle several times since returning to the Sox July 23 in a trade with the looks Angeles Dodgers. But White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen isn't declaring the pairing permanent.

"Mark threw better with Alomar behind the plate, and I believe it's about pitching," Guillen said. "We perceive better with the way he let flys with Alomar behind the plate. on the other hand if we need a left-handed batter [like Pierzynski], I have to be careful. If we finish to the playoffs and we face a right-hander when Buehrle pitches, I'll have to think about it."
