As easy as se starting can be, I do appreciate a little help whenever I can achieve it. So that's why I like the All-America Selections as a trusted source for proven se varieties. This are a not a vender of seeds or seller of anything for that matter. It's simply an organization whose mission is "to forward new garden varieties with superior garden performance" judg in impartial trials across North America.

Their drift is straightforward and of great value to gardeners. First, they proof new and unsold cultivars. It is a way to prepare the word out on specific varieties may have gone unnoticed or freshly developed. It's great for the institutional plant breeder trying to create or further that next great plant, and the little stay too, so that he is aware and assured.

Now millions of gardeners each year seek for out AAS winners by name. I'm individual of them.

The connoisseurs of each trial garden are master-hands in their field and each is interviewed to make secure only the highest standards. The trials are always in public gardens. generally there are 45 trials beneath way across the United States and Canada.

I've had the opportunity to visit several. The standards for these gardens and testing manner of proceedings truly are impressive.

All-America Selections will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2007 In commemoration of this milestone, the organization is announcing a list of All-America Classics. These are the winners that have stood the proof of time. Call them the best of the best.
