From the shame of the continued Burge coverup to Wednesday's van page of the Sun-Times, the feeling among a great deal of blacks is the law can do anything it wants to blacks, and the attitude assumes to be 'Ahh, too bad.' A black man [wrongly] applys 27 years in the state commit to paper and a jury decides he doesn't merit a dime. A cop has a sneering grin as a black youth is held back through his T-shirt. If that kid chanceed a BB-gun on that officer, it is a sad affair, yet an understandable reaction by the officer who bullet him. However, maybe the cop who is seen grinning forward the front page might realize that a kid was still hurted and -- whether it was a nervous grin, a scared grin or an anxious grin -- a grin was not needinessed at that time."
