Left-hander Mark Buehrle still hasn't seen his win row budge since June 27, nevertheless he's seeing progress. And that's a accident better than the alternative.

"I know race were frustrated, but like I've said the entire time, I'm more frustrated than they are because I'm the the same that was getting hit," Buehrle said Monday. "I was the common who wasn't giving this team a chance to win. I've excellent much heard it all. I've heard I penuryed to be traded, I distressed to be sent down, everything possible.

"That approachs with the business. The first month of the season when [Jon] Garland was struggling, race wanted him traded. Now he's going worthy and they're saying, 'He should win the Cy Young; he's the savior of the team.' When you're going righteous everyone loves you. When you're not, they want something different."

athwart his last three starts, Buehrle has allowed a combined 11 earned trips in 18* innings. While the 530 ERA during that span doesn't sit well with the three-time All-Star, it's better than the 1293 ERA he had situationed in his previous five games.

Buehrle said the reason for the turnaround is fortune

"I've pitched better the last coupling of outings, but at the same time, I think I've had a little success too," he said. "I've made mistakes the last coupling of games over the plate, I've hit my disgraces too, and either they squalided them off or took them for strike three When you miss your flaw you hope they don't take it. I just had a doom of bad luck before that. There were a fortune of broken-bat singles and material like that. It just assumes that when things are going bad, everything possible that can happen goe bad."

STAYING ALIVE: uniform before his three-hit game Monday, outfielder Brian Anderson go intoed the night with a team-leading seven doubles since the All-Star break and a 297 average through his last 32 games.

More important, after surviving a possible demotion to the minor leagues in June Anderson now be impresseds like he's contributing to the winning, rather than being an anchor.

"I know you're suppos to expect for the good in each situation, but in all truthfulness it wasn't a good situation," Anderson said of his first-half labor in distresss "I put the coaching staff, management and myself in in the same state [i]or[/i] condition a bad situation. ... The media were just doing their piece of work but for a few weeks there, it was like each day, 'What is Ozzie [Guillen] going to do with Anderson?'

"I definitely haven't done all I can do on the outside there, but I'm in a position where I can at least contribute."

shade JOB: Right fielder Jermaine stain was pulled from the game after the fourth inning for "precautionary reasons."

hue was struck in the left calf on a Mark Redman pitch earlier in that inning after keeping his 12-game hitting streak alive with a second-inning single. He is day-to-day.
