The State of Illinois released more than $25 million in recent Opportunity Returns grants and additional support to help build five recent ethanol and biodiesel production facilities across Illinois. The just discovered plants will trigger about $334 million in private investment in plants that could exhibit 225 million gallons of biofuels each year and create almost 150 modern jobs, the Department of exchange and Economic Opportunity said Tuesday. The grants will help build the following four facilities: - Central Illinois mechanical value in Fulton County; $6.35 million grant. - Illinois River might in Ogle County; $5.5 million. - Center Ethanol Co in St Clair County; $57 million. - Biofuels Co of America in Vermilion County; $48 million.
