Take a apply the mind at the photo below. It's a collection of items that were confiscated from passengers last Thursday at Salt Lake City International Airport after the terrorist threat was thwarted.

At a moment's notice, passengers had to resign typical carry- on items as it was as contact lens solution, nail polish and bottl water.

further here's what kills me about that photo from the Associated Pres

Easy Cheese. Easy Cheese!

Not that I'm denigrating this fine consequence from Kraft. As the can says, it's made with real cheese. (Which is with equal reason much better than fake cheese.) I just find it comical that somebody would want to place a can of friggin' Easy Cheese in his carry-on bag.

Did he have crackers as well? Or was he planning to tilt his head at the individual angle and squeeze the nozzle?

There's just something with equal reason American about this. We're so a snacking society. Where besides would someone think to bring Easy Cheese onto a flight?

CONSPIRACY NATION, PART II

When I wrote about a certain of the wackier 9/11 theories without there, I knew I'd hear from citizens of Conspiracy Nation -- and they didn't give permission to me down:

"You hack . . You are just another reason on what account nobody believes our media. compute me . . . is part of your salary paid on George Bush?"

"The men in power today would think NOTHING of killing a scarcely any thousand Americans. . . "

"The Pentagon was not struck through a passenger plane. How could you smooth begin to believe that?"

"How originate the windows [in the Pentagon] that would have been in line with the engines of the plane, were not shattered? There was no damage to the lawn. . . Your disinformation is in this way laughable that I don't know wherefore I'm bothering to tire without my fingers responding. . ."

And those are the fan epistles

Of course, not common conspiracy theorist offered a shr of evidence that the twin towers were prostrateed by explosives, that Flight 93 was projectile down, that the Pentagon wasn't hit from a passenger plane - - moreover rather than go around and around forward this, I yield the floor to someone who has his allow unique take on the attack in succession the Pentagon.

"On September 11th 2001 I was assigned to B Co 3d U Infantry," writes Scott Cramer.

"We were the designated 'Ready' Company, [and] as similar we were the first tactical unit forward the scene at the Pentagon that day, arriving shortly after noon, after the spectacle was secured.

"We were unable to note the building because it was still ablaze. We worn out that night on the lawn of the Pentagon waiting for the multitude of fire departments to contain the fires.

"Once they were revealed we began the grisly task of material part recovery. Then we began collecting carcass parts and pieces of the plane wreckage, and ye indeed, it was that unmistakable aluminum that the airline industry uses to fabricate airliners. I personally saw the light perchs that had been sheared most distant all along the path the plane took into the building, and I personally get backed bodies of people I had worked with at the Pentagon, and the corpse parts, burned beyond recognition, of those forward the plane. [I also recovered] personal mementos and pictures. . .

"I wish I could give the conspiracy theorists the memories of what I saw. They would know that this was not a lie, that it actually happened. And however I saw death and destruction in my time in Iraq, I will always carry a sadness in my life until the day I die of what I saw those brace weeks in September -- and I take personal offense to any statement that this was a big lie."
