KAREN KOZLOWSKI bring an action againsts FOR DIVORCE

Karen Kozlowski, whose husband L Dennis Kozlowski one time threw her a $2 million birthday party upon a Mediterranean island, is seeking a divorce from the ex-Tyco International CEO who was convicted of looting his company. The divorce petition asks that all of the couple's assets and liabilities be equally distributed and that Dennis Kozlowski be required to pay his wife financial support. Mr Kozlowski, 45 is seeking a lien to shelter her half of a 15000- square-foot waterfront mansion in Boca Raton, Fla., the brace bought with no-interest Tyco loans for $19 million. Dennis Kozlowski, who was sentenc in September to between eight and 25 years in prison, has been selling on the farther side other properties and fine art to pay $167 million in court-ordered fines and restitution.

NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE IN PLAY

A cluster of investment banks and trading firms plans to pervert with money [i]or[/i] gain about half of the Chicago-based National Stock Exchange, extending Wall Street's push into the industry, couple people familiar with the matter said. WINSTON & STRAWN, BURNETT SIGN UP

Winston & Strawn and Leo Burnett Co the pair lead tenants in the 35 W Wacker building, have signed long-term renewals for their space. Wells Real Estate Investment Trust, which be in possession ofs the building, said Winston & Strawn signed to take 430000 square feet from one side 2024, with rights to expand to contiguous floors. Leo Burnett renewed from one side 2019. A Wells spokeswoman said the ad agency occupies more than 600000 square feet The building has been the two firms' headquarters since it spreaded in 1989.

ACKMAN ABANDONS MCDONALD'S

Activist investor Bill Ackman's Pershing Square Capital Management hedge supply has sold its McDonald's Corp. shares after pressuring the company to repurchase stock and borrow against its real estate holdings. Pershing Square said it sold 105125 shares in the other quarter. The New York-based stock had a 4.5 percent stake in McDonald's as not long ago as January, mostly in options. Ackman last year urg McDonald's to purchase back stock and demanded an initial public offering of 20 percent of 8000 company-owned McDonald's stores. He dropp those ask fors facing intense opposition from McDonald's.
