The appeals court ruling doesn't affect the Texas court's decision that EchoStar must pay TiVo about $90 million in damages.

CISCO free from doubts INVESTOR LAWSUIT

Cisco orders Inc. settled a class-action lawsuit brought on investors in 2001 by agreeing to a $918 million payment that will be made through insurers. The payment won't affect Cisco's eventuates from operations or its financial position, the company said, adding its insurers agreed to make the liquidation payment. Cisco and some officials were accused of making misleading statements that were relied on by investors.
