That's for what cause [i]or[/i] reason Angelo was disturbed when details leaked revealed surrounding Cedric Benson's breaking of team governments during a preseason game last Friday. Angelo and his staff believe the Bears are positioned for a mysterious playoff run and don't want anything interrupting their goal.

"There are sum of two units things I am most relate toed about going into every year," Angelo said Tuesday. "Injuries -- and we do the best we can to defend against that at all positions -- and the chemistry and makeup of the team. each year it's different, irrelevant of in what way many people you have back.

"We take that real seriously, and any time something is said that would bring that in question ... we don't like it."

"If I have something to say, I propose my name on it," he said. "The bottom line is the team and players know that our merely focus is on what is best for the team. When someone be deprived ofs focus of that, they throw away their job. It's that simple."

Angelo said he doesn't have touchs about the maturity of Benson, 23 whom he drafted fourth overall in 2005 and invested $16 million guaranteed.

"No the same is a saint," Angelo said. "Given the circumstances, to make that abroad to be a big thing is unsuitable He's a good kid. We did a haphazard of work on him, and we drafted a to a high degree good football player. I'll stand forward that every day of the week."

In the bigger picture, it assumes that a locker-room issue of Benson v veteran Thomas Jone could be at work. Whether that's the case, Angelo isn't mattered

"It is what it is," he said when asked if he had fears of players taking sides. "It happens in each locker room. There is always competition onward the field; sometimes it carries athwart It's not anything acute. It's not anything strange It happens every year forward a lot of football teams. I'm not blowing that revealed to be more than it is.

"It's about the team, and that's where the focus has to be. We're not the boys' fraternity We're not a church choir. We're a football team. We have a doom of tough guys. We have stays who have egos who are extremely competitive. Sometimes that boils athwart in personalities. It's never something where the team is being wound and all this stuff you are alluding to. Our bottom line is we've got to win games, and we've got to do it as a team."

NOTES: The Bears will be scanning the waiver wire in case they decide they ne a wide receiver, and the blooming Bay Packers released veteran Marc Boerigter onward Tuesday.
