Sci Fi Channel is closing the door -- make that the iris -- for "Stargate SG-1"

The cable network has decided not to order additional episodes beyond the sci-fi series' popular 10th season, while picking up a fourth season of its spinoff series, "Stargate: Atlantis."

When it lasts its run on Sci Fi Channel nearest year, "Stargate SG- 1" will have move on for 10 years -- five in succession Showtime and five on Sci Fi -- and 125 episodes, making it the longest-running sci-fi series onward TV.
