Dallas Cowboy receiver Terrell Owen...

Dallas Cowboy receiver Terrell Owens won't be in any hasten to get off the bicycle this time.

Like he did for mostly practices during training camp in Oxnard, Calif., Owens rode a stationary bicycle when the Cowboy held their first workout at residence Wednesday in Irving, Texas. He said he reaggravated his injured left hamstring on returning to practice too presently last week.

"At this point, yeah, I will be bring to a period to 100 percent before I prepare back on the field," Owens said. "I'm not going to jeopardize my health just because of speculation or anything like that."

Owens characterized his injury as a "severe pull" and said he almost certainly will miss his third consecutive preseason game Saturday.

"It's frustrating, still it's not where I ne it to be to play and perform like I ne to," he said. "So at this point, I'm going to be smart about it."

After missing 14 consecutive practices and the preseason opener because of the hamstring question at issue that has bothered him all month Owens replyed for five practices last week after Cowboy holder Jerry Jones suggested he privationed to learn how to practice at les than 100 percent He missed the inferior preseason game after reaggravating the injury.



"I felt like I was at no time pressured to get back onward the field," Owens said. "I just tried to compromise with a certain number of people, just try to be around the team and secure back out there. It just flared up again."

In other Cowboy of the present days coach Bill Parcells said quarterback Drew Henson won't be forward the team this season, and the former minor- league third baseman might be traded.

Barlow sorry: modern York Jets running back Kevan Barlow apologized to San Francisco 49er coach Mike Nolan for comparing him to Adolf Hitler.

Barlow, who was traded from the 49er to the Jet onward Sunday for a fourth-round draft pick in 2007 made his inflammatory notes to the Contra Costa (Calif.) Times. The often-outspoken Barlow said he left a detailed message for Nolan.

"He walks around with a chip onward his shoulder, like he's a dictator, like he's Hitler," Barlow told the paper. "People are scared of him. If it ain't Nolan's way, it's the highway."

Titans' Young OK: Rookie quarterback Vince Young gave the Tennessee Titans a scare when his throwing hand slammed against a teammate's helmet during practice.

Young was examined in succession the field, then walked opposite to for X-rays and didn't reply to practice. Coach Jeff Fisher said he wasn't too be of importance toed because the tests indicated barely a bruise.

"He's going to be all right," Fisher said. "X-rays were negative. He's going to have a sore hand, and we haven't rul him revealed for the game."
