Chicago Police Thursday were investigating the death of a 2-year- antiquated South Side boy after an autopsy revealed he died from multiple injuries and trauma caused by dint of apparent child abuse.

The boyfriend of Ethan Hamilton's mother told paramedics the lad began choking at the boyfriend's place of abode in the 1200 block of West 99th Wednesday night, the falsify County medical examiner's office said. Ethan was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Center in Evergreen Park in cloyed cardiac arrest, and he later died there.

Ethan's 22-year-old mother was not ready when the boy became ill, officials said.
