No matter the state of her game, Lindsay Davenport always pretends to get the best of Amelie Mauresmo, especially at the Pilot penfold tournament in New Haven, Conn

Davenport, the defending champion, knocked not upon the No.1-ranked Mauresmo 6-4, 7-5 Thursday night to advance to the semifinals of the U unclose tuneup. Davenport has won their last nine meetings, dropping just individual set.
