looks ANGELES -- Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton is recovering from radiation treatment for throat cancer, the band's publicist said.

Hamilton, 55 will skip the start of the band's upcoming tour, coming to the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park onward Oct. 5. He will join the tour in mid-October.
