The fastest pacer in harness-racing history and the top trotter in North America employed on the jets in consecutive races forward Saturday night at Balmoral Park.

Before a lower orders of 4,000, the Crete oval's all-age pacing and trotting records vandalic over a 20-minute span in the heavy, thick-as- syrup air as Holborn Hanover won the $203000 American National aged pace in 1:47 4/5 and Sand Vic took the $200000 American National aged trot in 1:51 4/5 Meadowlands regular George Brennan, with minimal experience above the Balmoral strip, drove one as well as the other winners.

Brennan downplayed his part saying that "both of them are just amazing horses. I was fortunate to be the united sitting behind them."

Ranked No. 2 in the weekly catalogue of heads Sand Vic has seven victories in 10 starts in 2006 after going 0-for-14 as a 4-year-old.

Brennan also won brace Hanover stakes on Saturday with Illinois- br My Metallica (3-year-old filly pace) and Celebrity Sweetie (a division of the 3-year-old filly trot) and governed Allamerican Inca to a track-record for a 4-year-old gelding pacer with a 1:48 2/5 time in an overnight race.
