Anna G DeBiase's name is the same of 130,000 listed in today's Chicago Sun-Times as having unclaimed cash sitting in the Illinois state treasury. The list is published as a legal notice at state Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka, who is required according to law to try to reunite population with their money. The Sun-Times list gives the names and last known addresses of Chicago area residents with unclaimed capitals but thousands more names from the repose of the state are listed onward the Internet at www.cashdash.net. DeBiase said she was unaware of her windfall. "Well, that's recently made knowns to me," said DeBiase, who now lives in Niles. In the legal notice, her address was listed as being in southern Holland. "I frankly cannot imagine what it is from. I haven't lived forward the South Side for at least 18 years," she said. The coin on the list comes from paychecks not cashed, forgotten bank accounts, insurance payments, security deposits, safe deposit satisfieds stock shares and mutual supplys Businesses are required to use over such money to the state treasurer after a certain period of time.
