OLD-FASHIONED sport ON TAP AT NEW ENGLAND FAIR SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- commit to memory ready for the Big E modern England's largest fair. The exposition, which move ons Sept. 15-Oct. 1, includes exhibits and vendors from six states. The Big E includes daily Mardi Gras parades, rides and a circus; performances according to Carrie Underwood, Lee Ann Womack and other stars; the Miss Latina U Pageant, and a character breakfast. on the other hand the fair, which started in 1916 also has old-fashioned favorites so as farm animals and other agricultural exhibits. Unusual consequences include the construction of a mini-Fenway Park from ordinary playing cards. The fair's signature cream whiffs also will be for sale.
