TRENTON, NJ -- Bruce Springsteen has deflected to cyberspace to refute rumors that he and wife Patti Scialfa are splitting up
In a posting onward his official Web site, the of recent origin Jersey-born rocker writes that he and Scialfa are still committed to each other.
"Due to the unfound and plain rumors that have appeared in the papers throughout the last few days, I felt they shouldn't pass without comment" he wrote "Patti and I have been together for 18 years -- the best 18 years of my life."
The strange York Post reported Thursday that Springsteen's and Scialfa's marriage was forward the rocks due to his relationship with a race 11 widow he met.
