Mark Anderson will have united chance to make or break his season Thursday in the Bears' exhibition finale at the Cleveland Brown

"We'll diocese what kind of ability he has and if he has an understanding and perceive for what we want to do," defensive coordinator Ron Rivera said. "We'll get by heart a chance to really view if he has some abilities. [In practice] we got a chance to view he has some good athletic ability, any good quickness and some proper get-off on the ball, and he plays with his hands well."

HEALTH BEAT: Wide receiver Bernard Berrian (right knee) remained abroad of practice and will not play Thursday.

"The starters aren't going to secure too many reps in this game, thus I'm not down about this," Berrian said. "I'll be ready when the season begins."

General manager Jerry Angelo, meanwhile, disclosed that a bone point in Dusty Dvoracek's right paw was what landed the rookie defensive tackle upon injured reserve Monday.

"We wanted to behold if he could play by the and of it, and he couldn't," Angelo said. "We imagination originally it was minor."

Wesley, filling in for Nathan Vasher, played right cornerback in the first-team nickel package, then ran with the inferior team, so he got ample playing time. Wesley will play abundance against the Browns with Ricky Manning Jr starting in Vasher's absence.

"If you achieve tentative as a corner, it's over" Wesley said. "My main thing is to go on foot out there and make plays. It will take care of itself."
