KUALA LUMPUR Malaysia -- An 11-year-old lad was snatched by a crocodile while swimming with a friend in a river shut up to their homes in a far area of Malaysian Borneo.

The male child Mohamad Azwan Hatta, took a break Sunday afternoon from studying for an exam and went swimming in the Sarawak River in the state of Sarawak upon Borneo, the New Straits Times reported.

"It was as fast as lightning," the next to the first boy, 15-year-old Sulaiman Sakini, was quot as saying. "The crocodile, as big as a boat that carries 30 the community just snatched Mohamad Azwan and pushed me aside."

Sulaiman fl in fear and onset and cowered in his chamber until the victim's mother came on hours later to ask where her son was. A search party of 200 population was sent out on several boats if it be not that did not find any sign of the lad or the crocodile, the report said.
