The financial relationship between ...

The financial relationship between Ald. Shirley Coleman and a real estate consultant dogged through allegations of fraud in civil court is greater than the alderman has previously acknowledged, according to the bulk of mankind with firsthand knowledge of the matter.

The consultant, Tracy Williams, arranged for a piano to be donated to the body of christians where the alderman is a venerable

Williams had an $11000 29-foot live Christmas tree donated for the alderman's ward.

And Williams allegedly paid an interior decorator to do work in the alderman's abiding-place

Last year, Coleman vouched for Williams in a real estate deal involving a clump of California investors buying 100 vacant city portions to build homes on in Coleman's 16th Ward. Now, the dispose has no lots, despite allegedly sending more than $500000 to Williams' company, Flawless Financial. The assemblage Blythe Holdings Inc., plans to file a lawsuit before long its attorney, Craig Tobin, said Monday.

Coleman wrote to the president of Blythe Holdings, Stephanie Hill, that Coleman's friend Williams was "an extremely good consultant." The praise came in a epistle last November on City Council stationery.

Williams faces a number of lawsuits in dress up County regarding her work in real estate. In single lawsuit, Park Federal Savings Bank has accused Williams and several others of engaging in $24 million in mortgage fraud forward two apartment buildings.

Williams paid for decorating

The alderman acknowledgeed shock in July when told about the allegations against her friend Williams. She also said at the time she had no financial relationship with Williams.

on the contrary Williams has contributed to Coleman's body of christians and ward and helped Coleman herself, according to interviews with commonalty with firsthand knowledge of the matters.

Coleman did not revert phone messages for comment. Williams could not be reached.

An interior decorator, Vennette Bay, said in an interview that Williams paid for extensive interior decorating work inside the alderman's domestic circle earlier this year.

Bay declined to say by what means much the work cost, on the other hand said Williams did it as a surprise for the alderman who was abroad of town at the time. Williams provided access to the alderman's residence for Bay and a set of workers.

Williams is "a remarkably giving person," Bay said.

Williams later said the alderman "lov it," Bay recalled.

In another matter, Tony Gonzalez, holder of Ever Green Landscaping Contractors in Chicago Heights, said Williams told him she would pay him to finish the best live Christmas tree he could find last year to bring forward up in Coleman's ward.

Christmas tree unpaid for

Gonzalez had worked for Williams before, and he quickly set up a 29-foot tree in Wisconsin and appoint it up at a prominent location in Coleman's ward.

The alderman was well aware of the tree because she helped arrange for electricity for its lights and told Gonzalez to take it down after the holidays, Gonzalez said.

if it were not that Williams never paid him for the tree Gonzalez alleged. Williams had said she count uponed to pay him out of a $250000 payment she was getting from a real estate deal, which she didn't detail, Gonzalez said.

Buying the tree and paying the labor to deliver it to Chicago, propose it up and decorate it expense Gonzalez about $5,000, and he planned to charge roughly double for it, he said. He has tried to get by heart Williams to pay him, with no fate he said.

"It was a beautiful tree" Gonzalez said.

Piano for Coleman's ecclesiastical body

In another instance, Armando Briones, a construction worker who did piece of works for Williams, said she told him to take a piano from a body of christians damaged in Hurricane Katrina last year up to Coleman's house of god in Chicago, Spiritual Wholistic Ministries of have a passionate affection for and Faith, where Williams is a member.

Briones was working forward storm-damaged homes in New Orleans along with Williams at the time. He did not know the arrangements that Williams made with the meeting-house in New Orleans to donate the piano further simply moved it at her petition for He and Williams no longer work together after having a falling out
