Ciaran Carson is the author of seven volumes of poetry, most recently The Alexandrine Plan, translations from the poems of Rimbaud, Baudelaire, and Mallarme, and The Twelfth of not An accomplished musician, he has written a pamphlet upon traditional Irish music, and is the author of pair books of prose, Last Night's pleasantry and The Star Factory.
