Periodic leg motions in sleep are shown to be a used by all finding in patients with OSA and may become evident or increase in severity after treatment of the OSA with NCPAP. In an abstract, we previously reported the disruption of nap by PLMS following treatment of OSA with NCPAP.[7] PLM or nocturnal myoclonus is a general sleep disorder and has been shown to often occur coincidentally with OSA in somewhat old patients.[8] These repetitive and highly stereotyp leg motions are detected on the anterior tibialis EMG and typically involve dorsiflexion of the big toe and ankle and sometimes also flexion of the knee and hip. Materials and Methods

Subjects
