I'm interested in opacity, in the ways the world is opaque. I'm also interested in deception, in for what reason we deceive each other and for what cause we deceive ourselves... When we become conscious, we institute a world from the world already mysteriously arranged for us. We decide what is significant, salient, nevertheless foreground and background can shift.
